About This Service

Testing goes beyond visual inspection to confirm that system components actually perform their intended function. Required tests under NFPA 25 include water flow alarm tests, control valve operation, main drain tests, dry pipe valve trip tests (every three years), and antifreeze loop testing. All tests must be documented in a written report. Some tests require advance coordination with the building's fire alarm system and notification to the local fire department before activation.
